39th Annual Waterville Intown Arts Fest

SHOW DATE: Saturday, July 19, 2008, 9am-4pm (Rain date: Sunday, July 20, 2008)

PLEASE NOTE: After surveying a group of artists who have participated in past years and talking with local businesses and organizations, we have decided to move the Arts Fest date from the last Saturday of July to the previous Saturday in order to coincide with the Maine International Film Festival, which brings hundreds of people to Downtown Waterville AND Colby Museum of Art's Summer Luncheon, which also brings hundreds of art lovers to Waterville.

ENTRY FEE: The entry fee is $40 for applications received on or before Thursday, July 3. A late fee of $10 will be added after July 3. Late entries may be accepted until the morning of the show, space permitting. (Refunds will be made only for cancellations made prior to and including July 3.)

NO production work or quilting based on traditional designs. Artists may be asked to limit the number of items displayed that do not differ substantially in design.

ADDITIONAL PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: A major objective of the Waterville Intown Arts Fest is to bring artists and the public into closer contact. To further this end, artists are expected to have a substantial display and to be present for the majority of the time that the show is open to the public ( 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ).
